Purely Quantum Coders

About the Team

The Purely Quantum Coders are a team of explorers driven by curiosity and committed to making the universe a better place through science, technology and philanthropy. They share a passion for building, tinkering, robotics and inventing and they dream of someday traveling to space. They are enthusiastic about the opportunity to participate in the MOONBOTS Challenge and look forward to learning along the way.

Jake, Lucas, Lauren and Ethan met at Rolling Robots, an innovative tech center where kids can play, learn, and grow with technology and robots. When they heard about the MOONBOTS Challenge they immediately formed a team and got to work. Together, they brainstormed, scripted, storyboarded, filmed and edited their Moon Tale. They even visited the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and met with their robotics engineers.

They have really enjoyed working with LEGO MINDSTORMS and VEX, and they are interested in learning more about MECCANO. They are always up for a new and exciting challenge!

Thank you for your consideration and for getting them one step closer to making their dreams come true!

Phase One

What inspires our team about the Moon is:
Testimonial from someone who has viewed our tale:

"Imagine the possibilities indeed! The PQC Moonbots video is full of promise, not just for what we may accomplish by going back to the moon but for what the next generation of scientists and explorers can accomplish if they reach for the stars. Kudos to Google for sponsoring such an innovative and exciting contest for students and for fueling the imagination of kids around the world!!!” - Beau Brown, Research Director
